Brian Swain

Brian is a local artist who resides just

ten minutes from Westport on Buck

Lake.  His medium is wood and he

finishes his sculptures in acrylic.  He

strives to capture the essence of a

study with accurate form combined

with brush and airbrush techniques.

Brian competes with his work at prestigious shows, including the Canadian Nationals

In Kitchener, ON, and at the Ward World Carving Championships in Ocean City, MD.

Brian has been very

successful over the past

25 years, winning numerous

awards.  He continues to

compete at the World

Championships,

in order to achieve the

highest level of honor,

Master Carver.
